Merry Christmas From the Bolhuis Family

I know it's a couple of days late--but my cards are late too! I knew my son was coming home for only 2 days, so I wanted to wait to create my Christmas card until he was home and I could take pictures of my 3 kids together in their uniforms!

Yes--all 3 of my kiddo's are "owned by the government!" Jared is a Marine, currently stationed in Bethesda, MD. Jami and Jesi are both ROTC cadets (future Army Officers.) Jami at Michigan State University and Jesi at Southern Utah University. I am so proud of all of them and am so thankful for their service and dedication to our country.

We had a great 2 days together as a family--I know those days are limited and so far and few between--so I enjoyed every minute!

Eat MORE Chocolate!!!

This set is great for little chocolate gifts!

Creating with My Digital Studio

I think of all the cards I made--this is my favorite!!!! The computer just does not do justice to any of these cards made in MDS--they look so much better in person.

My Digital Studio ROCKS!!

One nice thing about My Digital Studio, is that they have a lot of "templates" in the program for cards. Sometimes I use "as is," but usually I use it as a starting point then change and "tweak" to my liking. This card is one of those templates. I think on the front I added the rhinestones, and then created the inside.

My Digital Studio Cards "In Person"

I have been sharing a lot of cards I made using My Digital Studio--they were "digital pictures" of the actual card I designed--just as I sent in to be printed. Well, I have received the cards and I want to now share them with you in a photograph so you can see how awesome they look "in person!" I am so excited about them--I plan on doing many more of these!!! I bet if you did not know these were created on the computer--you would have never guessed!!!

Another Card Made With My Digital Studio

These cards were so fun......Many of the "elements" that I used came on the basic program, but I have also purchased a bunch of add-on downloads....not really sure what's what anymore. So--if you try to copy and don't have everything on your program--it must have been a download I purchased.

Creating with My Digital Studio

I finally did it--created a BUNCH of cards in My Digital Studio. I was trying to decide what to do for my mother-in-law for Christmas, as I often give her cards, but have found she does not always like to mail them because of all the layers and ribbons....so--MY DIGITAL STUDIO to the rescue. I LOVE the cards I created, if I do say so myself. Over the next few days I will share all the cards I made. After creating them, I had them printed through Stampin' Up!'s printing service--the cost was very reasonable and they came in less than a week. The more I play with MDS, the more I love it!!!!
